Rule 1012. Contesting a Petition in a Chapter 15 Case

(a) Who may contest petition. A debtor or a party in interest may contest a Chapter 15 petition for recognition of a foreign proceeding.
(b) Time to File a Response. Unless the court sets a different time, a response to the petition must be filed at least 7 days before the date set for a hearing on the petition.
(c) Corporate-Ownership Statement. A corporation that responds to the petition must file a corporate-ownership statement containing the information described in Rule 7007.1  The corporation must do so with its first appearance, pleading, motion, or response, or other first request to the court.
